The Supervisory Board supervises the management of the Executive Board as well as the general course of affairs at HEINEKEN N.V. and its operations. The Supervisory Board assists the Executive Board with advice. In the performance of their task, the Supervisory Board members shall be guided by the interests of the Company and its operations, and, to this end, weigh up the relevant interests of the Company’s stakeholders. The Supervisory Board is responsible for the quality of its own performance. Members are appointed by the General Meeting of Shareholders from a non-binding nomination to be drawn up by the Supervisory Board for each appointment. The Supervisory Board has four committees: the audit committee the remuneration committee the selection and appointment committee and the preparatory committee.
