Frans van der Minne began his career with Heineken Brouwerijen in 1975, working as a sales manager. He then held a range of positions in the Heineken Export organization in Singapore and Australia and was in charge of exports to the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and Canada. In 1988, he was appointed General Manager of Murphy Brewery Ireland Limited in Cork, Ireland.
He was named Director of the Heineken Export organization in 1989 and was then appointed Cluster Director of Europe in 1999. As Export Director he was responsible for all Heineken exports from Amsterdam throughout the world. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Heineken USA in 2000. From October 2005, Frans becomes Group Human Resources Director based in the Netherlands.
Among his previous work experience was a four-year term between 1970 and 1974 with Container Transport International, a container leasing company then based in White Plains, NY.
