GRI reporting

Our HEINEKEN N.V. Sustainability Report is a key component to ensure public accountability. HEINEKEN follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines. The GRI reporting framework sets out the principles and indicators for measuring and reporting our performance. The third version of the Guidelines - known as the G3 Guidelines - was published in 2006

HEINEKEN shares the Global Reporting Initiative's vision that disclosure on economic, environmental and social performance become as commonplace as comparable as financial reporting, and as important to organisational success.

Our benefits of GRI ReportingWe use our HEINEKEN N.V. Sustainability Reports, based on the GRI framework, to:

  1. benchmark our organisational performance with respect to laws, norms, codes and performance standards
  2. demonstrate our organisational commitment to sustainable development
  3. compare our organisational performance over time

The HEINEKEN N.V. Sustainability Reports are downloadable in the Global reports section. Here you can also find our Sustainability Datasheets and Statements. The Sustainability Data Sheet is an instrument we introduced as a full reference document to the Reporting Guidelines from the Global Reporting Initiative. The Sustainability Data Sheet contains information about our international sustainability performance that is outside the scope of our HEINEKEN N.V. Sustainability Report.
